Our footprint
Packaging with responsible material selection
At Granby Pack, we develop transport packaging with a focus on both function and responsibility. We know that you need to be able to document your choices - that's why we work with certified materials and traceability throughout the value chain.
Our approach to responsibility
is built on four focus areas
Responsible sourcing
of materials
Among other things, we use FSC-certified wood, plywood and cardboard, ISPM15 labelled wood and post industrially recycled foam.
Preferably local and European suppliers
We minimise transport and reduce carbon footprint in the supply chain, wherever possible.
Data-driven approach
We work with CO₂ documentation and traceability on all our materials and batch numbers.
Minimising waste
We recycle materials and actively reduce waste from production actively.
Recycling foam in a closed loop
Residual materials from our foam production are not discarded. In co-operation with our supplier, they are cut up and recycled into new solutions. This minimises minimises waste and contributes to circular process in production.
FSC-certified wood, plywood and cardboard
We are FSC certified - a guarantee that all FSC-certified wood, plywood and cardboard in our packaging comes from responsible forestry. This ensures transparency throughout the material flow and provides you with the necessary documentation for your customers and business partners.
Heat-treated wood without chemicals
We only use heat-treated wood - not pressure impregnated. It is free of harmful substances and fulfils international requirements for export packaging.
Sustainability is also about people
Responsibility at Granby Pack is not just about materials and carbon footprint. For over 30 years, we have collaborated with local job centres and offered sheltered jobs and upskilling in our production. For us, a strong working environment and local anchoring is a natural part of responsible business.
Our ESG efforts
Our ESG efforts are based on structured
data collection, responsible operations and documented results. ESG is not an add-on, but an integral part of the business: from sourcing and waste reduction to the social work environment and governance.
